Dr Creer studied at the University of Cape Town Medical School, graduating in 1991. He undertook his specialist medical training in London including the Royal Free Hospital, the London Chest and St Bartholomew’s Hospital. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and has been a specialist respiratory and general medicine physician since 2004.

What are the moments which stand out most in your career so far?
Moving from Sotuh Africa to the UK; training as a physician in England and becoming a consultant; building a thriving Respiratory Department in my NHS Trust; developing my skills and knowledge as a clinician
What keeps you busy in your personal life?
My wife, children and new-ish puppy, an obsessive daily exercise regimen including an unhealthy love of running and music (listening not playing).
