Areas of Expertise

Our team of experienced adult and paediatric dietitians are all highly specialised in gastro-specific areas. They all have extensive experience in managing irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) as well as troublesome symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain, reflux, excessive flatulence, constipation, urgency to open bowels and diarrhoea. In addition, they have all had training in the use of the low FODMAP diet in managing IBS if this is indicated.

The team also sees clients with coeliac disease, eosinophilic oesophagitis, gastrointestinal surgery, and cancers including those with complex malabsorption. We have team members who can also support women’s health issues including polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, and fertility nutrition.

We understand that people with gut health issues may also have other conditions and we are qualified to manage these too e.g., diabetes, thyroid disorders, skin issues, allergies. We also have a dietitian who specialises in weight management, helping clients lose weight and achieving non-scale victories such as improved confidence, more energy and better-quality sleep.

Whether you are struggling with gut symptoms or just want to maximise your gut health, get in touch to find out how we can help you achieve your goals using the latest research and an evidence-based approach.

What does a dietitian do?

Dietitians are the experts when it comes to advising people on nutrition for their health. They are the only qualified and regulated health professionals with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) that assess, diagnose, and treat diet and nutritional problems.

As evidence-based practitioners, dietitians take the science and translate it into everyday information in order to advise on a wide range of diseases/conditions, providing education and practical advice that is tailored to the individual.
