The Nox T3 sleep monitor is an at-home sleep test. The innovative device uses cutting-edge technology to quickly and accurately monitor and analyse your sleep.
The system compiles various readings to produce a reliable sleep study with data on estimated sleep time, snoring and breathing. Delivered in a comprehensive report, this information provides our respiratory consultants with critical information that helps them accurately diagnose the causes of sleep disturbances.

Should a Nox T3 sleep monitor be used at home?
Yes. In fact, the Nox T3 sleep monitor is specifically designed for at-home use, for maximum patient convenience.
Many traditional sleep studies require patients to stay in hospital overnight. The key benefit of the Nox T3 device is that it monitors your sleep at home. This compact system is also much more comfortable to wear than in-clinic devices as it’s battery-powered, so no wires or tubes are keeping you attached to large medical units or wall sockets.
Nox T3 patient instructions
If your consultant requires you to use the Nox T3 system, they will provide all the equipment and instructions you need to successfully set up the device at home.
The system is set up in just a few simple steps:
Attach the two clips of the device close to the collar of your t-shirt so that it sits on your chest with the display facing upwards.
Take one of the belts provided and snap it into one of the connections at the back of the device. Pull the other end of the belt around your back so that it is lying flat and snap into the other connection.
Once in place, position the belt around 1 inch below your armpits. Adjust the length of the belt with the attached belt loops if needed.
Take the second belt and snap one end into the abdomen belt connector. Pull the belt around your back and fasten the other connector. The abdomen belt should sit just above your belly button.
Connect the nasal cannula by pressing the end of the tube into the Nox T3 device.
Place the cannula in your nose making sure the prongs are facing downwards and pull the tubing over your ears to secure.
Place the oximeter on the wrist of one of your arms and attach the finger probe to your index finger. To ensure accurate readings, remove any nail polish beforehand.
To start recording press once on the middle button on the front panel of the T3 device.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
Once the counter is visible on the screen, the study has successfully started.
What happens after receiving the results of a Nox T3 test?
You will return the Nox T3 equipment to the centre the day after you’ve used it. They will collect the data from the machine and compile a detailed report before delivering your results to you in a follow-up appointment.
At this appointment, they’ll discuss the findings of the study and recommend any treatment you may need to help improve your sleep quality and overall health.
Nox T3 cost
The price of the test starts from £695 which includes the report. Pease note this price does not include any consultation fees which are billed by the clinician directly.

If the results of your Nox T3 study are inconclusive you may require further testing such as neurological sleep study.
