About Mr Pal Ramesh

Mr Pal Ramesh is a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at OneWelbeck Orthopaedics with special interest problems of the foot and ankle problems including bunions, hammer toes, neuroma, mid foot pathology, sports injuries, tendon repair/ ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy and replacement/fusions.

Mr Ramesh has worked at Kingston hospital since August 2005. Here he teaches junior doctors and conducts a renowned annual ankle fracture course. Mr Ramesh is also very active in clinical research and academic development – he is regularly asked to present his work both nationally and internationally. Most recently, he spoke at the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) conference, where he delivered an invited lecture on midfoot tendon pathology. He also delivered lectures in Indian Orthopaedic association annual conference.

Mr Pal Ramesh, MBBS, M Ch, FRCS, FRCS(Orth), underwent his higher surgical training in Orthopaedic surgery in the South East Thames region including Guy’s & St Thomas’ hospitals in London, and completed a fellowship in Preston / Chorley hospitals. He was entered on to the specialist register for orthopaedic surgery, in 2005.

In 2006, Mr Ramesh was awarded the DePuy travelling fellowship, following by the prestigious international American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society’s (AOFAS) travelling fellowship, in 2007.

These fellowships have allowed him to visit and train with a number of high-profile foot and ankle surgeons within North America, including: Columbus, Galveston, Houston, Minnesota, Toronto, Rochester, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore.
