About Mr Michael Lamyman

Mr Michael Lamyman is actively involved in research, including previously collaboration and facilitation for researchers at Oxford University.

Mr Michael Lamyman, MA(Cantab), MBBS, FRCSplast DipHandSurg, studied at Cambridge University and Imperial College School of Medicine; qualifying in 2001. His plastic surgery training took place in Bristol, Oxford, Stoke Mandeville and Salisbury.

He completed the hand surgery fellowship at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, gaining advanced training in hand and wrist surgery.

He completed the Bristol microsurgery fellowship, gaining experience in planning and execution of a broad range of microsurgical cases. He was awarded the UK Hand Diploma in 2014.

He is currently a consultant at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Royal Berkshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Reading.

Getting to know Mr Michael Lamyman

Mike maintains an interest in rugby and athletics, having competed at university level as a student. He is keen on cycling and running, and has completed numerous 10K, half-marathon, marathon and triathlon events.
