Men’s Health Check

Here at OneWelbeck, we advocate for prevention over cure, which is why we’ve created our men’s health centre to provide a holistic approach to male-focused health and well-being. Our specialists provide a personalised health screening for an array of health concerns including testosterone, prostate health, erectile dysfunction and loss of libido. Many of these conditions may be interconnected and could begin with subtle symptoms that may not be immediately bothersome or demand urgent attention. That's why our screening is designed to help you stay in control of your health and detect any early signs of disease.

  • Diabetes

Our dedicated team of nurses and consultants conduct all necessary tests on the same day, all under one roof, and pride ourselves on providing a fast turnaround on results.

What tests are included in a men's health check at OneWelbeck?

Our men's health assessment is led by expert nurses and men’s health specialists in which tests are tailored to your age, lifestyle and family history.

  • Your initial assessment will be led by an expert nurse to measure your BMI and blood pressure, and you’ll have a detailed consultation with a Men's Health Consultant to go through your medical history, illnesses, medications, and family health.
  • A urine and blood sample will also be taken to evaluate various factors such as testosterone levels, PSA, kidney and liver function, cholesterol, lipids, glucose, HB A1C for diabetes, and calcium/phosphate levels.
  • Other tests are also available according to other individualised risk groups or upon request, such as bowel screening, exercise ECG, and ECHO of the heart. (Charges may apply)

Following these tests, treatment and management strategies are discussed and arranged. This may involve a referral to another specialty.
