Dr Ariff performs a range of treatments, including:

Dr Ben Ariff undertook medical training at Charing Cross & Westminster and obtained MRCP before working as a clinical lecturer at St Mary’s Hospital and Pfizer, achieving his CCST in general medicine and clinical pharmacology and gaining experience in cardiovascular preventive medicine and cardiovascular drug development.
Dr Ariff went on to train in radiology at Charing Cross and Hammersmith obtaining his FRCR and CCST and completing his PhD combining cardiovascular imaging with computational fluid dynamics. He subspecialised in cardiac imaging and obtained level 3 accreditation in both cardiovascular CT (SCCT) and cardiovascular MR (SCMR).
Dr Ariff is a level 3 trainer in cardiovascular CT and MR as is a course director in accredited CT and CMR courses around the world.
Research and Awards
Dr Ben Ariff was awarded a PhD focusing on vascular remodelling and local haemodynamics and won the RSM Finzi prize.
Following a competitive European Society of Radiology (ESOR) fellowship in cardiac imaging at Leiden University, Dr Ariff joined Harefield Hospital as a locum consultant in cardiac imaging both obtaining a substantive consultant post at Imperial College Healthcare.
He has contributed to number of research papers including cardiac CT, cardiac MR and transcatheter aortic valve insertion (TAVI/TAVR) and Takayasu vasculitis. He is an honorary clinical senior lecturer with Imperial College and teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
