Dr Zena Willsmore is a Consultant Dermatologist experienced in treating all aspects of dermatology including mole checks and skin cancer, acne, skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea. She has a specialist interest in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, and holds a PhD in the field of melanoma. Dr Willsmore graduated from Imperial College London before completing her specialist dermatology training at the renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr. Zena Willsmore is a Consultant Dermatologist working at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London, an internationally recognized center for the treatment of patients with skin conditions. She consults on all aspects of dermatology including mole checks and skin cancer, acne, skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, hidradenitis suppurativa and pigmentation disorders. She also performs skin surgery including removal of benign and cancerous skin lesions.
Dr Willsmore has a specialist interest in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with skin cancer, including mole surveillance for those with atypical moles and runs a specialist skin cancer genetics service.
Dr Willsmore graduated from Imperial College London in 2010 with Distinction and a First Class Honors Bachelor of Science degree. She completed her post graduate medical training in London and her Dermatology specialist training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
She was awarded a competitive grant to undertake a PhD in melanoma and skin immunology at King’s College London completed in 2024. She has published her original work in prestigious peer reviewed journals and written a textbook chapter on dermatology. She has regularly presented at national and international scientific meetings and won awards for her work including the British Society for Investigative Dermatology award.
