Dr Mumin Noor is a consultant cardiologist with expertise in heart failure, advanced pacing with biventricular pacemakers and implantable cardiac defibrillators.
About Dr Mumin Noor
Dr Noor gained his undergraduate medical degrees at Imperial College London and Cardiff University. He then completed general medical training in both tertiary and district hospitals in London. Following a period of research at Harefield Hospital, he completed his cardiology training in the North West Thames rotation (London Deanary). His sub-specialty training was in heart failure and complex cardiac devices at Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Brompton Hospital and Harefield Hospital.
He is currently consultant cardiologist at Harefield Hospital and Epsom General Hospital (Surrey).
Dr Mumin Noor has an interest in medical education and regularly trains undergraduate medical students. He is also an examiner for OSCE tests at Imperial College Medical School.
He has been teaching the Harefield Hospital PACES courses since 2013.

Dr Mumin Noor has published several peer-reviewed articles in publications such as Artificial Organ, European Journal of Heart Failure, Journal of Heart and Lung Transplant, and Heart.
He has recently co-authored a chapter titled ‘Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy for Heart Failure’ in a textbook published by Springer Publishing.
He has also recently co-authored an investigation into the effectiveness of new assistance devices for the heart, titled "Investigation of the Characteristics of HeartWare HVAD and Thoratec HeartMate II Under Steady and Pulsatile Flow Conditions".
