Dr Dev Shah is a qualified Consultant Dermatologist and Skin Surgeon. With over 20 years of experience, he specialises in all aspects of dermatology and skin surgery including Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
His current NHS post is at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust. His specialism is skin cancer and skin surgery. His areas of interest are mole reviews, Mohs surgery, skin surgery, acne, eczema, psoriasis, basal cell carcinoma and melanoma, vitiligo, lipoma and cyst removal.
He regularly teaches sessions at GP surgeries utilising his expert knowledge and is a regular spokesperson for the British Association of Dermatologists and British Skin Foundation and has featured on television for his expert opinion, he is currently a featured surgeon on Skin A & E – Channel 5.
Nationally he is part of the executive committee for the British Society for Dermatological Surgery and has recently won the wooden curette award for his services. He is the chair for the Skin Cancer MDT both privately and for the NHS. He is an invited lecturer, teaching juniors on national courses about skin surgery.
Dr Shah graduated from The University of Leicester in 2002 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees. He has completed additional training in where he attained a Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2005.
