Patient‑centred day‑case care – Welbeck Cambridge is designed to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred day‑case care using the latest medical advancements. The facility’s innovative layout reduces the time between consultation, diagnosis and treatment, enabling most patients to return home the same day.

Comprehensive specialty clinics – Building on the success of the London flagship, the Cambridge centre will bring together a wide range of specialist services under one roof. Planned specialties include digestive health and endocrinology, women’s & men’s health, ear‑nose‑throat, skin health & allergy, cardiology & lung health, orthopaedics, neurology, pain management and many more.

Advanced imaging & diagnostics – The imaging centre will feature cutting‑edge 2 MRI scanners, CT scanner and digital X‑ray equipment. Newly approved equipment includes a Hologic 3D mammogram system and a Siemens 3T MRI breast coil with AI capability, providing high‑resolution images for early detection and accurate diagnosis. The imaging suite uses PACS systems for secure image storage and sharing.

State‑of‑the‑art surgical centre – Modern laminar‑flow theatres equipped with advanced surgical instruments and integrated digital systems will support day‑case procedures across orthopaedics, ENT, breast surgery, gynaecology, general surgery, dermatology and invasive cardiology. Design revisions now include dedicated preparation rooms for each theatre, ensuring efficient turnover and patient safety.

Specialised endoscopy and minor‑procedure suites – The gastroenterology and respiratory endoscopy unit will include multiple procedure rooms and private en‑suite recovery spaces. High‑definition camera systems approved for minor operations will enhance clarity during procedures.

Integrated pharmacy and medication safety – An on‑site pharmacy with a temperature‑controlled dispensing robot will improve stock management and patient safety. Controlled drug licensing and integration with the electronic health‑record system support seamless prescribing.

Future‑ready design – Every room at Welbeck Cambridge is equipped with the latest medical technology and designed for future expansion.
