Dr Ridge commenced specialist training in radiology at St Vincent’s Hospital and then completed fellowships in interventional oncology and MRI-predominant body imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre and cardiothoracic imaging at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre in New York and Boston.
Since 2009, she has held numerous academic appointments in America, the UK and Ireland including associate professor, lecturer, mentor and tutor positions at UCD School of Medicine and Health Science, Harvard Medical School, Weill Cornell Medical Center, and most recently Imperial College. Dr Ridge has contributed to a great extent to numerous publications including the Journal of Thoracic Disease and Lung Cancer.
In 2013, Dr Ridge was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin and in July 2017, she was moved to London to take up a Consultant Radiologist position at Royal Brompton Hospital.

My pastimes include cycling and running after my children.
Do you hold level three cardiac CT certification?
Yes, I attained level 3 certification with the Society of Cardiac Computed Tomography in 2016. This is awarded to imagers who supervise a cardiac imaging service and exhibit a breadth of academic and research experience in cardiovascular imaging.
