Dr Andrew Plumb trained at St John’s College, Oxford University before obtaining his MRCP in 2007. He completed radiology training in Manchester and London, receiving the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2010, for which was awarded the Frank Doyle Medal.
He holds a PhD in CT colonography from University College London and was appointed a consultant at University College Hospital in 2014.
Research and Awards
Currently holds over £5 million in competitive research grants from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), Cancer Research UK and the European Research Council.
He has published 70 peer reviewed, indexed research articles including first author publications in The Lancet Gastroenterology and Gut.
