Personal Biography
Dr James Kinross FRCS PhD is a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at St. Mary’s Hospital London. He was trained in northwest London, and was a National Institute for Health Research clinical lecturer in surgery, and an Ethicon laparoscopic fellow in colorectal surgery.
He was awarded a Royal College of Surgeons of England training fellowship during his PhD and he was funded by the Academy of Medical Sciences as an early stage lecturer.
He is a visiting professor at the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and is currently funded by Bowel and Cancer Research and the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre.
Mr Kinross has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers and authored countless book chapters, whilst also presenting at over 30 international conferences.
