About Professor Nicholas Peters

Professor Peters is a professor of cardiology, head of cardiac electrophysiology and consultant cardiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

He is clinical adviser to Google Fit & Health and also founded the Connected Care Bureau to drive rapid clinical implementation of tech-enabled care to improve standards and cost effectiveness of care offered.

He has an interest in putting patient safety first and improving healthcare and outcomes, and is the founder of the European Cardiac Arrhythmia Society and Symphony Medical, Inc.

He has more than 220 peer-reviewed papers in the cardiac electrophysiology field and has a number of international research collaborations across Europe and the USA.

He has an extensive molecule-to-bedside research programme, funded principally by BHF. He is on the steering committee for major international clinical trials in these fields.He also has a number of international research collaborations.
