He was Hand Fellow at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department of Oxford University Hospitals, and the Hand Clinic in Windsor. In 2009, he was appointed Specialist Hand Surgeon at the Humanitas Clinical Institute in Rozzano, Milan (Italy). In 2015, he was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Hand and Wrist Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust in London.

Mr Garagnani is Honorary Reader at the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London. His regular activities include supervising and teaching Specialist Trainees, Senior Hand Fellows, and medical students from both the UK and abroad.
