About Dr Muaaze Ahmad

Dr Muaaze Ahmad is a Consultant Radiologist at OneWelbeck Imaging & Diagnostics, specialises in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Imaging including ultrasound, CT and MRI. He also does image guided procedures for diagnosis and treatment in joints, soft tissues and the spine.

He is a consultant radiologist at Barts Health NHS Trust. He is currently a member of the specialist training board at the Royal College of Radiologists which oversees radiology specialty training in the UK. He is also the national clinical lead for radiology recruitment.

He has contributed to a research involving imaging and inflammatory arthritis, co-authoring research papers on management of soft tissues neoplasms, treatment of tendinopathy and use of ultrasound in early arthritis.

Personal Biography

Dr Ahmad trained at Royal London and St Bartholomews hospitals. Following his registrar training he completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging in Melbourne, Australia. He gained experience at an acute hospital and regional sports medicine imaging centre.
