Dr Carole Ridge has research interests in cardiac and pulmonary embolism imaging and lung cancer diagnosis and treatment. Dr Ridge commenced specialist training in radiology at St Vincent’s Hospital and then completed fellowships in interventional oncology and MRI-predominant body imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre and cardiothoracic imaging at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre in New York and Boston.

About Dr Carole Ridge
Dr Carole Ridge is a Consultant Radiologist at OneWelbeck Imaging & Diagnostics, focussing on Cardiothoracic Radiology.
Dr Ridge is a Consultant Radiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital where she specialises in cardiothoracic imaging and lung tumour diagnosis and treatment.
She has research interests in cardiac and pulmonary embolism imaging and lung cancer diagnosis and treatment. Additionally, Dr Ridge has contributed considerably to a number of peer-reviewed publications, review articles, books and case reports.
Personal Biography
Dr Ridge commenced specialist training in radiology at St Vincent’s Hospital and then completed fellowships in interventional oncology and MRI-predominant body imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre and cardiothoracic imaging at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre in New York and Boston.
Since 2009, she has held numerous academic appointments in America, the UK and Ireland including associate professor, lecturer, mentor and tutor positions at UCD School of Medicine and Health Science, Harvard Medical School, Weill Cornell Medical Center, and most recently Imperial College. Dr Ridge has contributed to a great extent to numerous publications including the Journal of Thoracic Disease and Lung Cancer.
In 2013, Dr Ridge was appointed as a Consultant Radiologist at Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin and in July 2017, she was moved to London to take up a Consultant Radiologist position at Royal Brompton Hospital.
