Role Information:

We are looking for a highly professional Front of House Doorperson & Security to join our Front of House Team. This combined role is critical to the seamless daily operation of OneWelbeck. Representing our first-class Front of House Guest Experience located at all times in the main entrance. Your focus will be on establishing a strong presence for external visitors, ensuring a warm yet professional welcome and assisting with any inquiries to enhance the overall guest experience.

  1. Salary: £30,000-£34,000 DOE

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the face of OneWelbeck, taking pride in your role and representing the organisation with professionalism, commitment, and a drive to consistently deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Deliver a warm and professional welcome to all guests and visitors, maintaining immaculate personal presentation at all times.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the main front entrance, acting as a key figure in assisting patients with their cabs on arrival and departure, while also supporting security functions.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the local area-including restaurants, transportation links, and sightseeing opportunities-to confidently assist patients and visitors with local navigation and recommendations.
  • Monitor, manage, and respond appropriately to any security-related concerns, incidents, or disruptive behaviours, in line with company policy.
  • Support the Front of House and Concierge teams in logging and supervising contractors entering the building.
  • Carry out security and safety responsibilities, including acting as a Fire Marshal and supporting fire alarm testing and emergency evacuations.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the clinics, consultants, and services at OneWelbeck to confidently respond to guest queries while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the guest experience and contribute to a safe, efficient environment.
  • Support the implementation of new guest services or operational initiatives led by Central Services and Facilities.
  • Attend to service requests as required

Qualifications & Requirements

  • SIA Door Supervisor Licence- Required
  • Proven experience in a similar combined security/customer-facing role, preferably within a luxury hospitality or healthcare setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some out-of-hours duties.
    Desirable
  • Experience working unsupervised or in roles where independent judgment is critical.
  • Understanding of guest experience in a 5-star or high-end environment.
  • Fire Marshal and First Aid Kit Training

Salary and Work Pattern

  • £30,000-£34,000 DOE
  • Monday- Friday 40 hours per week (Between 08:00-20:00)
  • OneWelbeck, 1 Welbeck Street W1G 0AR
