Role Information:
The Welbeck Health Partners Clinical Quality Team (CQT) are seeking an experienced Clinical Quality & Compliance Systems Lead to support compliance within Welbeck Group Centres. This is a new role, and the ideal candidate would be one that has previous experience working with Radar. They should also be focused, motivated and adaptable. The candidate will: To work in collaboration with key stakeholders, to develop approaches for monitoring and continuous improvement of the implementation/use of clinical quality & compliance system improvements.

About OneWelbeck:
OneWelbeck was founded by a group of leading clinicians whose objective is to develop a state-of-the-art private day-case centre in the greater London area. OneWelbeck offers outpatient procedural and day-case intervention work in a unique dedicated setting to include procedures such as Ear, Nose & Throat, Permanent Pacemaker Implantation, Cryo AF Ablation, Orthopaedic, Gynaecological and Gastro-Intestinal procedures.
Welbeck Health Partners are developing several other day centres across the UK in addition to the flagship centre at 1 Welbeck Street. Further centres are also planned internationally.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Main Duties
• To plan and implement a systematic roll out of clinical quality & compliance system improvement initiatives.
• To effectively communicate the benefits of using clinical quality & compliance systems.
• Work with Centres to ensure that clinical quality & compliance systems are utilised to their full capability.
• Support any new Centres with use of clinical quality & compliance systems.
• Supporting culture change to effectively use clinical quality & compliance systems to facilitate positive and open reporting / learning behaviours across the Centres.
• Ad hoc reviews to facilitate improvements in system use and stakeholder engagement with compliance processes.
• Lead to ensure the data integrity of Radar and track/monitor each module.
Clinical Quality & Compliance Systems – Radar
• To be the Radar ‘expert’ for compliance functionality, working closely with Radar Healthcare to keep up to date on knowledge and skills.
• Horizon scanning for shared learning and future developments with the Radar system.
• Lead to work directly with Radar Healthcare as part of ongoing review and improvement.
• Responsible for reviewing, communicating and agreement on implementation of monthly updates made by Radar.
Radar Module Specifics
• To provide regular updates, progress reports and risk reports.
• Radar document management lead/owner: quality checking documents, publishing, ensuring reviews/updates undertaken.
• Be responsible, for the way in which the Radar system is used to ensure learning from reported incidents, complaint, concerns and risk issues.
• Data quality checks of all events added to Radar, for example, checking harm levels, due dates met.
• Escalation of any serious incident or other event identified.
• Set up, undertake and collate clinical audits, for example, electronic patient records, practising privileges standards.
• Work with other corporate teams to ensure Radar data is accurate, up to date and monitoring in place, this includes but not limited to:
o Human Resources to support compliance within the workforce module, including statutory/mandatory training requirements.
o Central Practising Privileges team to support compliance within the practising privileges workflow.
• Utilise the Radar analytics module to support clinical quality & compliance, working with the Business Intelligence Team to link to Power BI where relevant.
• Provide reports and data extracts from Radar on an ad hoc basis.
Other
• Support the use of the L2P system.
• Link person for oversight on external compliance data e.g. Infection, Prevention and Control.
• Provide clinical quality compliance system support, implementing suitable fixes (in conjunction with the IT team where relevant) ensuring continuity of service.
• Proactive in identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Undertake other clinical quality & compliance systems improvement work where identified.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with all key stakeholders in Centres, Corporate and externally.
Education and Training
• Creating, and providing training to facilitate the best use of clinical systems for compliance
• Creating clinical quality & compliance systems user guides and training literature, updating as required.
• Plan, prepare and deliver clinical quality & compliance systems training for designated new and existing staff.
• Responsible for managing and updating the CQT wiki pages.
• Assess own educational needs to determine initial training requirements.
• Actively participate in the appraisal, personal development plan to ensure skills and knowledge are up to date to undertake the role autonomously.
Policy and Service Development
• Participate in the production, monitoring and updating of compliance policies and other documents.
• Participate in audits and support improvement.
• Oversee any Clinical Quality & Compliance Systems improvement plan.
