Role Information:

Join our team and play a key role in attracting, selecting, and hiring exceptional clinical and non-clinical professionals across Welbeck’s centres. You’ll help ensure every new team member contributes to outstanding patient care, operational excellence, and CQC readiness. This role supports recruitment across all service lines — from our core clinical specialisms (ENT, Cardiology, Endoscopy, Women’s Health, Imaging, Theatres, Gastroenterology) to Guest Experience and administrative teams that shape the patient journey.

    Location: Hybrid – London / Centres as required 
    Indicative band: Competitive

     

    Key responsibilities 

    • Lead end-to-end recruitment for all centre-based roles including: 
      • Clinical: Nursing, ODPs, Theatre staff, Imaging/Radiography, Cardiac Physiology, Endoscopy, Women’s Health, ENT, Outpatients, Phlebotomy, AHPs, and Clinical Admin. 
      • Non-clinical: Front-of-House, Patient Coordination, Guest Experience, Housekeeping, and Facilities Support. 
    • Partner with Centre Directors and Clinical Service Leads to plan workforce needs, pipeline critical skills, and support safe staffing levels in line with CQC regulations. 
    • Deliver compliant, values-based recruitment through Teamtailor, ensuring full adherence to right-to-work, DBS, reference, and professional registration requirements. 
    • Build and nurture pipelines for scarce and specialist roles through direct sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, and partnerships with professional bodies and universities. 
    • Create compelling job adverts and candidate journeys that reflect The Welbeck Way and our clinical excellence. 
    • Analyse hiring metrics (time-to-hire, offer acceptance, source effectiveness) and present insights to support workforce planning. 
    • Collaborate with HR to align recruitment with service expansion, talent mobility, and succession planning. 
    • Champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing through every touchpoint in the recruitment process. 

    Skills and experience 

    • Significant experience recruiting within private healthcare, hospital groups, or specialist medical environments. 
    • Deep understanding of CQC workforce standards, safeguarding, and compliance frameworks (GMC, NMC, HCPC). 
    • Strong stakeholder management – confident engaging consultants, centre managers, clinical leads, and senior nurses. 
    • Proactive, creative sourcer with experience managing high-volume and specialist pipelines. 
    • Proficient with ATS (Teamtailor preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey warmth, clarity, and professionalism.
