About Dr Chiara Hunt
“We have the luxury of time, both to spend with our patients in consultation and afterwards, to ensure their medical needs are met quickly and efficiently and by the right person”.
I graduated from Imperial College in 2005 and, after 6 years in the NHS, joined the Sloane Street Surgery which had been set up my grandfather in 1952.
I spent 8 years working alongside my father until his retirement. Having worked in multiple specialties across London hospitals, my particular interests now lie in paediatric and teenage care, women’s health, acute medicine, disease prevention and psychiatry.
I enjoy all aspects of General Practice but particularly looking after whole families: from newborns to grandparents, helping people when they need it most, quickly, efficiently, and kindly. I set up The Bump Class in London in 2012, an antenatal class helping expectant parents prepare for pregnancy, birth and parenting, and I also co-host a podcast called, The Parent Hood.
I’m married with 2 school aged children. We love travelling and action-packed holidays. Animals have always featured in my life, you may have seen my dog Nero, who sometimes comes to the surgery with me.
