Mrs Abigail Simpson

Abigail Simpson is the Clinical Lead in Voice Disorders in the Complex Laryngology service and National Centre for Airway Reconstruction, where she runs a tertiary voice clinic alongside Professor Guri Sandhu.

She also maintains a busy private practice and provides external clinical supervision in voice disorders for NHS trusts and private practices.

Abigail specialises in voice disorders in adults and children, including but not limited to pre- and post-operative voice care, Spasmodic Dysphonia, benign vocal fold lesions, post-radiotherapy voice issues, as well as conditions of the upper airway such as chronic cough, induced laryngeal obstruction, and airway stenosis.

With a background in acoustic voice analysis and specialist training in vocal pedagogy, she has extensive experience treating professional voice users, including singers, actors, broadcasters, and those in public service, both nationally and internationally. She has worked with many internationally acclaimed touring singers and West-End/Broadway performers. Abigail has considerable experience collaborating with music managers, agents, and production companies to optimise the vocal production of artists on stage and screen.
