Mr. Muddassar Hussain is a Consultant Urological and Robotic Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital, specialising in investigation and treatment for enlarged prostates, urinary tract infections, urological cancers, men's sexual health, and penile and scrotal conditions. About Mr Muddassar Hussain

Born and brought up in London, Muddassar Hussain qualified as a medical doctor from King’s College London in 2006. He then completed two years as a Foundation Year doctor, followed by two years of general surgical and urological experience, both in the South-East of England. He started his five-year focussed urology training in London and Kent/Surrey/Sussex in 2010 during which time he completed two fellowship years in the management of complex stone disease and complex open renal surgery at Guy’s Hospital in London. Mr Hussain also achieved a Masters degree with distinction in Urology from University College London during his early urological training. He then completed a Fellowship in robotic and laparoscopic kidney surgery at Frimley Park Hospital and continued on as a substantive consultant thereafter.

Muddassar is Department lead on Frimley Park Hospital’s Clinical Effectiveness and Audit Committee and is also Clinical Governance lead.

He has recent publications in peer-reviewed journals and podium presentations both nationally and internationally. He is Principal Investigator for a trial related to kidney cancer and has been Co-Investigator in two trials relating to prostate surgery for enlarged prostates.

Muddassar offers treatments for general urological conditions, including urinary symptoms, urological cancer diagnosis, kidney stone disease, and scrotal and penile abnormalities. He also provides a tertiary regional laparoscopic and robotic surgical service for kidney problems.
