Overview
Mr Jeremy Crane is a senior London-based consultant transplant and vascular surgeon. He currently serves as President of the Vascular Access Society of Britain and Ireland (VASBI) and holds an NHS consultant post at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where he is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer. His clinical practice covers kidney and pancreas transplantation, dialysis access surgery, and vascular surgery, including varicose vein procedures. Mr Crane also has an international reputation in chronic wound management and serves as the Medical Director of The Wound Clinic.

Mr Jeremy Crane is a leading consultant transplant and vascular surgeon, specialising in complex wound management and varicose vein procedures. He has extensive expertise in kidney and pancreas transplantation.
Mr Crane began his career with a medical degree from the University of Liverpool in 1997 and completed his basic surgical training at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital, St George’s Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, and Great Ormond Street Hospital. He went on to complete an extensive rotational surgical training programme in North West London and was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) from the University of London for his research into haemodynamics and blood flow patterns.
Mr Crane was appointed as a Consultant in 2011 and went on to establish a vascular access surgery service for haemodialysis patients. He is well known for his dedication to patient care and his active involvement in clinical research.
Outside of work, Mr Crane enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid sportsman, having run the London Marathon for charity and playing weekly five-a-side football.
His clinical expertise includes varicose vein surgery, microsclerotherapy for thread veins, diabetic foot surgery, wound revision surgery, fistula and graft surgery for haemodialysis, wound care, renal transplantation, and pancreas transplantation.
