About Dr Sachit Shah
Dr Sachit Shah is a Consultant Neuroradiologist based at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) at Queen Square in London, where he has been a consultant since 2012.
Dr Shah has particular expertise in the imaging of peripheral nerve and muscle disorders, and is the lead for the Neuromuscular Imaging service at NHNN. His practice also covers all other aspects of neuroimaging with a range of interests including stroke, pituitary and dementia imaging. In addition, he has considerable experience in specialist diagnostic spinal procedures, including CT-guided nerve root & facet joint injections and lumbar punctures.
Dr Shah holds an honorary academic post at the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, and is a lecturer on the UCL Advanced Neuroimaging and Neuromuscular Diseases MSc programmes. He is also the Course Director for the Infomed In-depth Neuroradiology Course, and is regularly invited to lecture at national and international courses and conferences. In addition, Dr Shah has co-authored book chapters and published over 40 peer-reviewed research articles in leading scientific journals.
