About Dr Oliver Seyfried

Oliver Seyfried qualified from St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in 1999. He undertook training in anaesthesia at St Bartholomew’s, The Royal London and St Thomas’ Hospitals. His pain medicine training was undertaken at St. Thomas’, King’s College and St. George’s Hospitals and he was awarded fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists by examination in 2013.

He was appointed to Consultancy in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at St. Georges Hospital in 2013 where he is now departmental lead. Dr Seyfried has published in peer reviewed pain literature and received recognition from the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in this regard. During his training and practice he has developed expertise in the biopsychosocial management of complex pain conditions.
