We’re looking for a Medical Copywriter who can transform clinical test data and clinician notes into patient-friendly reports. Your work will help patients understand their health screening results and take informed next steps in their care. This role is ideal for someone with strong scientific literacy, outstanding writing skills, and a compassionate approach to health communication.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft and edit personalised health screening reports in plain English.
- Translate complex medical terminology into clear, actionable language while maintaining clinical accuracy.
- Ensure tone and style reflect our professional and supportive brand.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to verify accuracy.
- Review and proofread reports for compliance with governance and data standards.
- Meet turnaround times and adhere to UK healthcare regulations (GMC, CQC, GDPR).
Skills & Experience
- Degree in life sciences, biomedical sciences, medicine, or health communication.
- Experience writing for patient audiences (health reports, leaflets, medical communication).
- Excellent written English and ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Knowledge of diagnostic tests (bloods, ECG, imaging).
- Familiarity with UK healthcare practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in health screening, diagnostics, or digital health.
- Understanding of plain-language and health literacy best practices.
- Empathetic communicator with attention to detail and professionalism.
