An exciting opportunity has arisen to work closely with a group of Breast Care experts in a new, dedicated Women’s Health Centre in Central London to provide specialist expert diagnostic information, advice and support for the patient throughout their journey. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Breast Care Nurse who is passionate about care and support to Breast patients and willing to learn and work within the constantly changing environment bringing with them innovative ideas of how to promote the service and collaborating with the entire Women’s Health team.

The post holder will work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives and carers. They will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care under indirect supervision from senior staff. They are expected to be able to demonstrate procedures and supervise unqualified staff, and work without direct supervision once competencies are complete. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Fetal Sonographer to set up and lead our Fetal Medicine Service. If you are a dynamic and motivated individual with excellent leadership skills looking to embark on a new opportunity, we would like to hear from you! You must be able to demonstrate initiative and prioritise a complex workload whilst working both as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multidisciplinary team. The right candidate will have strong organisational skills, ability to use own initiative, as well as possess excellent communication skills to deal appropriately with complex and sensitive issues with patients. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be committed to providing and developing a high-quality Fetal Medicine Service, ensuring the appropriate imaging, reporting and management of patients are achieved.

Dr Wilson is a nationally accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist, regularly performing bowel cancer screening through colonoscopy within the national Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
