Will my procedure hurt?
An endoscopy can be a bit uncomfortable, and mild sedation is offered to provide relief. You will also have the option to have the procedure without sedation as it can be painless when performed by a skilled team.
Our team consists of expert endoscopists who have performed over 100k endoscopies with excellent comfort, safety, and polyp detection rates.
After your visit
When will I find out my results?
Your doctor will discuss their findings with you after the procedure and you will be given a printed summary to take with you. If any tests have been performed or samples taken for analysis, you will be informed of how long it should take to receive the full result. In many cases, this may only take a few days.
A letter with the results of the procedure and any recommendations for future care or treatment will also be sent to you and your GP. In some cases, you may be given an appointment to come back to the centre to discuss your results.
