About Miss Lucy Allen

Miss Lucy Allen is a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist and Biofeedback specialist at OneWelbeck Digestive Health, specialising in npelvic floor dysfunctio and functional gut disorders.

Miss Allen has over 10 years experience in the NHS and private practice and currently runs two private clinics based in Marylebone for all types of Pelvic Floor related problems.

Lucy has a passion for treating men and women with pelvic floor dysfunction from an experienced musculoskeletal background. Her enthusiasm for pelvic health has led to specialising in bowel, bladder and pelvic pain issues ranging from constipation, urinary incontinence to sexual dysfunction. She provides a holistic approach to help her patients understand and regain control over their bowel problems. Additionally, she is a qualified acupuncturist and a member of the Association of Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapists (POGP).

Miss Lucy Allen graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham in 2009 and has since worked across the NHS and private sector including work at the prestigious St Marks Hospital in Harrow.

Lucy completed a Masters in Psychology to further support her clients emotional and wellbeing needs. As part of her Msc Lucy researched the physical and psychological effects CARiFiT babywearing workouts had on women during the postnatal period. This study hopes to bring about changes in mental health support for new mothers through exercise.
