About Dr Mark Westwood
Dr Westwood is dedicated to developing the use of cardiac MRI for the assessment of heart disease in patients and sits on the board for leading CMR societies.
He is the director of education at Barts Heart Centre, where he jointly founded and developed the largest CMR service in the UK, and is also the current chief examiner of the advanced level European CMR examination.
He is also the lead for the North and East London regional training programme in cardiology – one of the highest-ranking cardiology training programmes in the UK.
