An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Human Resources Lead based at our impressive Central London Head Office. Welbeck Health Partners is seeking an ambitious and motivated Human Resources Professional to join our friendly team. Your role will help shape, translate and implement a quality Human Resources service that is fully aligned and responsive to the needs of our business and our Centres.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•    Provide advice and lead guidance sessions for managers around Employee Relations cases including sickness absence, performance and internal investigations etc.
•    Update and maintain the Employee Relations tracker
•    Lead on the resolution of Employee Relations issues early including facilitating and leading on staff and manager meetings, best-practice advice, training, mediation and coaching.
•    Organise and lead Human Resources drop-in sessions in our Centres
•    Run webinars for managers and staff on important Human Resources topics
•    Manage the relationship with the occupational health provider
•    Support the onboarding process for new hires including contracts and compliance checks
•    Oversee changes in contract templates and conduct a review of contractor and clinical contracts
•    Create an index of Human Resource policies, monitor and update existing policies, scope and write new policies, and document Human Resources processes for internal information
•    Create and monitor letters and templates
•    Review and improve new hire, exit, and employee change processes
•    Map out Learning and Development needs and oversee e-learning
•    Respond to queries in the Human Resources and Payroll email inboxes
•    Provide assistance to the Chief people Officer and wider HR team with;
-    Monitoring and managing central induction programmes and designing and holding corporate inductions
-    Reviewing and updating the staff handbook and developing a career framework
-    Workforce planning for new sites
-    Ensuring recruitment best practice and templates are monitored and updated

Person specification

•    Degree level qualification or knowledge and expertise gained through in-depth i.e. CIPD Advanced Level 7 Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience
•    Detailed understanding of employment law and its application in the workplace
•    Employee Relations case management including supporting managers with complex absence management, disciplinary, grievance and dignity cases and organisational change including those resulting in redeployment and redundancy
•    Developing workforce policies and procedures 
•    Report writing for a senior/specialist audience 
•    Customer service/consultancy skills 
•    Written communication skills including the ability to write material and reports to a high standard for a wide and diverse audience
•    Verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels sometimes within complex, confrontational or highly emotive situations
•    Analytical skills - ability to analyse multisource data, draw conclusions from the findings and translate this into a coherent report and action planning
•    Presentation skills 
•    Problem solving skills and an aptitude for offering creative and innovative workforce solutions 
•    Being a champion for equality & valuing diversity principles 
•    Be able to demonstrate a good working understanding of data protection and confidentiality

•    Post holder must be willing and able to travel between the organisation’s sites and attend external meetings/events as necessary
