An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Human Resources Assistant based at our impressive Central London Head Office. Welbeck Health Partners is seeking an ambitious and motivated Human Resources Professional to join our friendly team. Your role will help shape, translate and implement a quality Human Resources service that is fully aligned and responsive to the needs of our business and our Centres.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Promote the existing benefits package to staff and oversee staff networks / clubs
• Develop wellness programmes
• Develop and implement a mentoring programme
• Write articles for internal newsletter
• Take the lead on business accreditation
• Lead on the NHS Elect annual review process
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, interviews, and training sessions
• Provide assistance to the Human Resources Lead and wider HR team with;
o Creating and delivering reports
o Ensuring all employee files are updated in corporate functions
o Auditing Centre Human Resources documents
o Collating workforce data
o Administering benefit in kind, salary sacrifice, pensions, Pensions Management Institute updates
o Sourcing and releasing further benefits for staff
o Providing advice and guidance for managers around Employee Relations cases including sickness absence, performance and internal investigations etc.
o Giving advice to managers when ER cases occur
o Organising Human Resources drop-in sessions in our Centres
o Running webinars for managers and staff on important Human Resources topics
o Responding to queries in Human Resource and Payroll email Inboxes
o Handling DBS checks and visa applications
o Maintaining the immigration tracker
o Supporting the onboarding process for new hires including contracts and compliance checks
o Creating an index of Human Resource policies, monitoring and updating existing policies, scoping and writing new policies, and documenting Human Resource processes for internal information
o Creating and monitoring letters and templates
Person specification
• NVQ Level 3 Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• CIPD qualified, or equivalent Human Resources experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Previous Human Resources experience in a busy office environment
• Ability to create, maintain and develop accurate spreadsheets and other records relevant to the role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to deal with all levels of internal and external staff
• Good level of numeracy
• Ability to accurately maintain records and filing systems
• Ability to manage own workload and conflicting priorities
• Basic knowledge of relevant legislation – GDPR etc.

• Post holder must be willing and able to travel between the organisation’s sites and attend external meetings/events as necessary
